Norwich City Women head coach Andy Cook spoke to Canaries TV after another big win, this time against Ashford Town, as his side ran out 6-0 winners.
Lauren Hailes bagged a hat-trick with Ellie Smith (2) and Natasha Snelling also on the scoresheet.
"I'm delighted with that performance, delighted with the clean sheet and we've now equalled last season's number, which is a great place to be," Cook said.
"Now it's a case of maintaining that consistency and kicking on with the way we want to work, defend and play.
"There was a lot of good work today and there are still a lot of things we need to improve on, but we are delighted with today.
"We changed formation at half-time, so that's on me; and we spoke about how Ashford probably would come back into the game and start to press us a bit more, so we've got to react a little better to that and be more precise and consistent
"We can't just rest on the fact that we've done well in the first half, it's a 90-minute game."
Cook also reserved special praise for Hailes who completed her treble in the first half.
Smith also grabbed her first of two as the Canaries stormed into a 4-0 half-time lead.
"For Lauren Hailes to get that first-half hat-trick sets us on the way; she's got that ability to make runs from deep from midfield, she's just such a versatile player.
"She's such a young talent and we are blessed to have her, just like several other players, but she can play in several positions.
"I'm really pleased for her because she is very humble and whether she's in the 16 or starting 11, she just takes things in her stride and is always asking what does she need to do to help and how can she improve."
Next weekend City face Brighton Women Under-21s in the determining round of the FAWNL Plate, following their exit from the cup at Carrow Road a week ago.
"It's good for the game that the 21s from the junior sections of the WSL are playing; it exposes those players to competitive games with senior players and it puts our players up against very good young players, so it'll be a good competitive game back at home at The Nest."
