Millie Daviss reacted to Norwich City Women's 5-0 win over Needham Market in the third round qualifying of the FA Cup.
Daviss was on the scoresheet for City in the win, getting the second goal.
"It was a really good result, we come into the FA Cup and we want to score goals, be aggressive, and games like today we can use as good practice, implementing things we may not have tried before. That was a really key aspect of today and we pulled it off," she said.
"I can't actually remember the last time I scored, probably years ago so today was really nice. You put the work in to get things out, so I'm just happy that I can help the team with anything, it's so nice to be part of it all again, especially after coming back from a few injuries.
"Needham came here and they put up a fight, we all know the FA Cup results can go anyone's way, so I think we needed to make sure we didn't get complacent, which we didn't, but credit to them for all working their socks off."
Andy Cook's side are now into the hat for the first round of the Adobe Women's FA Cup, with the draw taking place at 1pm on Monday, October 14.
"We play to win, any action we get out on the pitch, cup game or not, leads into our league games, so we're really happy with today's result.
"A home tie would be great, with all our fans here and The Nest is our home, we haven't lost here this season so that would be ideal, but we do like an away day. Whoever we get, we'll set up exactly the same and aim to win."
