Norwich City defender Shane Duffy said there's a good feeling in the dressing room after the 1-0 win away to Luton Town in the Sky Bet Championship.
The Canaries began 2025 in winning fashion, finishing as 1-0 winners at Kenilworth Road.
"Any win away from home is especially good," Duffy said. "The way we did as well, you see everyone fighting and dying for the three points. It's a good feeling in the dressing room.
"I feel the team is more about where they've come from, rather than being young. There's different countries, different surroundings for them. Age is obviously a thing, but I don't think many of them had seen Luton away like this.
"They've experienced a proper English Championship game, that's only going to benefit everyone and I think they all came through it brilliantly. It wasn't a pretty game, but it's a pretty three points to pick up."
Duffy and his defensive partner Callum Doyle were two of the key performers for City on the day, enduring a 90-minute long bout with Carlton Morris and Elijah Adebayo.
"I'm battered and bruised, but I enjoyed the battle. The front two work well together, they gave me and Callum a tough game. (Angus) Gunny made some great saves as well.
"When you get a team like that, to get the three points away from home, when we've had struggles, we're all delighted to come away with it with a clean sheet as well.
"We need to keep building our confidence, we're building something quietly and building consistency is our short-term goal at the minute."
