Norwich City defender Shane Duffy believes that individual moments is all that separated the Canaries and Leicester City in the Foxes 2-0 Sky Bet Championship win.
A first-half penalty and 87th-minute counter-attack goal handed Leicester the win, but Duffy maintains the belief still remains in the Norwich dressing room.
"We're disappointed. It was a tight game I think. It came down to individual moments and we were probably beat by a better team on the night," he said.
"They capitalised on their moments. If you switch off against good players. They probably shouldn't be in this league but that's what this league is going to give you this year. We've done well with the game plan but there were little lapses and they punished us."
Duffy himself had a chance to level in the second half but saw his header denied by Mads Hermansen while Kenny McLean and Gabriel Sara also came close.
"In the second half, we changed a few things and had a right go at it. Our chances just wouldn't go in and then they went up and killed the game off at 2-0," he explained.
"I think the belief is there, I thought before the game we had a real chance of going head to head with them, get the crowd behind us and go after them. The timing of the penalty was disappointing. But we regrouped at half-time, came back out and went for it, but like I say they killed us on the counter-attack getting the second. I don't think there was much in it, just two moments."
With a trip to Plymouth to come on Saturday, Duffy echoed head coach David Wagner's sentiments in immediately bouncing back.
"It's what we've said straight after, there's three points to get on Saturday. We've got to regroup, Plymouth is a tough place to go. We're disappointed but in 48 hours, we've forgotten about it and Saturday we'll be ready to go at it again and put it right.
"That's the beauty of this league, another game in three days to fix it. A good travelling support and three points hopefully."
