Christian Fassnacht celebrated his birthday with a goal in Norwich City's 3-2 win at the Cardiff City Stadium.
The Swiss international scored the Canaries' first as they were forced to come from behind to get the three points.
"Couldn't have had a better birthday than this one today. It was a special game, lots of ups and downs but in the end, I'm happy we got the win," he said.
"I think we showed a lot of character, a lot of heart. We knew we were good in the game, we just had to stick together and it came good for us. We scored another two goals and we're happy to be at a winning game again."
He also played a vital role in Norwich's second, forcing Ryan Wintle's own goal to level the contest in the final 10 minutes.
"I'm not sure, I'll have to watch the replay. I think on one, Onel touched it at the end or it could be an own goal. At the end, it doesn't matter once it's a goal.
"The last few weeks have been tough. It feels really good to win like this away. Celebrating with our away fans was just great, it's a feeling we've missed and really happy to have won again."
