Norwich City defender Kellen Fisher described the side's performance as composed, as the Canaries finished as 1-0 winners away to Watford.
Josh Sargent's first-half strike was enough for the Canaries, as they came out on top at Vicarage Road in the Sky Bet Championship.
"It was a really good win," Fisher said. "A 1-0 win, I think we'd take that every week away from home, but I think it was a composed performance.
"Especially in large parts of the first half, we controlled. With the sending off, I think it's easy to get carried away with them only having 10 men. I think we were very level-headed and saw the game out today.
"It was a bit surprising how they (Watford) went full press, that did rattle us a bit. But I think we adjusted to it well and controlled the game in large parts in the second half."
Fisher saved some praise for the goalscorer, who has now got three goals in his two starts since returning from a long-term injury.
"(Sargent's goal) was massive for us. That's what Sarge does, he's a poacher in front of goal. Any chance like that he's gonna put it away, so it was good for us.
"A clean sheet is massive, especially coming away from home. Luton 1-0 away, Watford 1-0 away. Like I said, we would take that every week away from home. It's a huge confidence booster and we go into the home games now.
"The fans were brilliant today, even before the game, during the game. Especially at the end, they were in full voice so huge credit to them."
