Kellen Fisher reacted to Norwich City's emphatic 4-1 win over Watford at Carrow Road on Saturday afternoon, saying it was a reflection on what the team was trying to build.
City went in 2-1 in front at the break before an assured second-half performance secured the three points.
"That was absolutely brilliant, I thought we were outstanding for the first 25 minutes, got the goal that we needed and then sort of switched off, which led to their goal," Fisher said.
"I think after that though, we were dominant, even the boys off the bench were brilliant, so it was a great day."
City's important win this lunchtime follows a 1-0 defeat away from home against Swansea.
"Last week it was a disappointing result and I think the boys took it a bit personally, which definitely shows in the result.
"I was really happy with my performance today, I just didn't want to make any mistakes and just try and help the team win, the boys were brilliant, it wasn't just me.
"We're getting better every week, even last week when we lost we still showed great signs and I think people are seeing what we're doing here and we're only going to get getter, we're a young team and I think everyone is enjoying themselves."
