First team coach Ryan Garry said the side executed their half-time team talk well, as the Canaries battled back from 1-0 to win 4-2 at Ashton Gate.
“We're really pleased with the response to the first half. A lot of credit has to go to the boys.
“We knew that we could be better in the first half, and that was the main message in the in the halftime team talk.
“I felt that we were too passive in the first half. We had to grow into the game in the first half.
“We were much better in the second half.
“When we concede early, there's still a lot of football to play, so there's no need to change necessarily our game plan.
“In the first half, we believed if we moved it with more precision and a bit more tempo, then we could really cause some problems and create some good chances.
“I thought that we executed that really well in the second half, and in terms of when we had the ball, there were some really good moments.
“I would use the word learning. It's really important between now and the end of the season as a group that we, obviously, don't try to concede early, no one tries to concede so early, but back ourselves to can come back from difficult moments, but also to learn from it.
“Leading into the game, we spoke about showing more bite with our offensive set plays.
“We’re very pleased as staff and as a group of players to score from one today. Long may it continue.
“I think again, I'll use the word learning, not just in terms of open play, but set plays as well. They're so important.
“I think it's really important that we show our second half energy [on Tuesday]. Our second half desire, and we've got to start the game correctly.
“The fans were excellent, all game.
“To concede the goal early isn't great and I thought they stuck with the boys. At times they was out singing the home fans as well.
“It was really pleasing to score some goals in in the second half, in front of them, because they fully deserve it.”
