Angus Gunn says that Adam Idah's last-minute winner shows the character that the squad have, as Norwich City claimed a 2-1 victory away to Bristol City.
The goalkeeper returned to the starting line-up after being out through injury, as Idah scored a late winner at Ashton Gate.
"It's a bit of a blur, to be honest!" Gunn said. "Especially after the last 30 seconds of the game. We were defending very well, and it wasn't our prettiest performance.
"Coming away from home, to Bristol City who are a very good team. They dominate the ball in most of their games, and we had to deal with that. I think we were solid for most of the game.
"I think it just shows the character we have in the team, and that we can go and get a last minute winner."
The Canaries have a busy December schedule, and Gunn says getting the three points is the perfect way to start a packed month.
"It's very important. But out of the last four games, we've actually done pretty well. In the dressing room, we've been taking the positives from those games. This win puts us in an alright position.
"Obviously, it's not where we want to be, but it keeps us in touch. We're just looking up now and hopefully we can carry this momentum on."
The goalkeeper also spoke about his return to the team, having missed the last few weeks due to injury.
"Really happy to be back. I've come back into training in the later part of the week, which isn't ideal and I was delighted to come back into the game.
"Getting the three points was a good way to come back in!"
