Reaction | Hoff Thorup: Character makes a difference

Norwich City head coach Johannes Hoff Thorup says the team's character makes a huge difference as they drew 3-3 with Middlesbrough.

The Canaries came back from 3-1 down at half-time to claim a point against Middlesbrough, with Borja Sainz scoring a brace and an own goal from Boro 'keeper Seny Dieng.

"I'm not tired of mentioning it \[their character\]," Hoff Thorup said. "It makes the difference in the games that we play, where they are so even and they're decided by one goal.

"The mood is obviously not good when we concede just before half-time, it's for us to look at the opportunity and not pay too much attention to the first half.

"We need to look at how we can create a better game picture for us. With the support of some of the experienced players as well to lift the momentum in the group was good.

"I also think we started well in the second half, everyone could see that we were chasing that first goal and I know we had that penalty save as well. I think everyone could see we tried."
