Johannes Hoff Thorup says that he was pleased with the discipline and fight shown by his team in their narrow 3-2 win over Derby County at Pride Park.
It's a second consecutive victory in the Sky Bet Championship for the Canaries, coming courtesy of a Borja Sainz hat-trick against the Rams.
"I hope we can be better than this but, with that said, we've also come away and put in the fight that was needed, a defensive performance that was needed," the City head coach explained.
"I think we did well in some moments, I'm overall satisfied with the first half, I think we got well in to the game and had the dominance that we needed, scoring a goal just before half-time.
"It was a matter for us of just doing the same in the second half but we got off to a bit of a shaky start. From there on, it was about us supporting each other, discipline in the team, and then see if we can create these moments in the game to decide it."
Sainz was the man on the end of the three best chances created, securing a first hat-trick of his career.
However, Hoff Thorup was quick to highlight the impact of the likes of Josh Sargent in the wider offensive effort to create those chances..
"He was good when he was about to score the goals. There's also moments in the game where he can do a little bit better to keep the ball for the team, losing the ball in positions where you really can not, in transitions.
"It's great for a striker like him to get three goals, also have to mention Josh, two assists, it's so important for the offensive players that we keep this streak, keep producing chances and scoring goals."
In the coming week, both Leeds United and Hull City will visit Norwich before the October international break.
"It's exciting, that's why we're here. We like these games, we like these moments and I'm pleased that we have them at Carrow Road."
