Head coach Johannes Hoff Thorup believes that his Norwich City team were unfortunate not to come away from the bet365 Stadium with all three points.
Norwich drew 1-1 with the Potters, Ante Crnac's first goal for the club securing a point.
Hoff Thorup said post-match that he felt the first-half dominance deserved more than to be going in at the break level.
"When we looked at each other after the game, I spoke to the players and we wanted more. And I think based on the first half, we can expect more. We had a very good first half, completely in control, dominated the game, created chances and then the second half is too open for us," he explained.
"Sometimes, you tend to remember the last bit of a game and that was open, us defending corners which is not ideal. Of course, we put in a strong fight defensively as well but based on that first half we could maybe have expected two more points. Sometimes, you have to be OK with a point away."
Speaking about the goalscorer, the Dane highlighted how pleased he was for Crnac to get his first goal since joining the club during the summer transfer window.
"I'm glad on his behalf. It's an important goal for a striker to get. He gets himself into so many dangerous positions and situations in a game but it's just that final pass or that final finish where he's maybe lacked a little bit of luck.
"He had that luck, combined with quality today, which is good for him moving forward."
