Emiliano Marcondes spoke to Canaries TV after Norwich City's 2-0 defeat away to Leeds United in the Sky Bet Championship.
Manor Solomon and Dan James were on the scoresheet for Leeds, as the Canaries fell to defeat at Elland Road.
"It's disappointing," Marcondes said. "We obviously started very badly. They had one chance and they scored from it. We had to react to that and I think we actually did alright after the goal.
"We had some good sequences on the ball and some OK chances. We needed better timing in our movements to create bigger chances but we did play against a top side and I think, in the second half, when we got a bit tired we didn't anticipate their pressing, we were just always a second or two seconds after. We had to react a lot and they did a lot of running.
"Then it's difficult, but we have our own moments. At 1-0, they should possibly have a second yellow card as well. He definitely hit me, but it is what it is."
Marcondes looked at the small details as where City are falling short, particularly on the road, lately.
"I think it's a matter of timing in the movement and the passes, we still have to get everyone on board with the right movement. When the centre-back has the ball, everyone needs to know where they've got to go. I think that's getting better and there's a lot of young players and some players out of position.
"Everyone has to learn and, for the future, we can look at the bigger picture. That'll be very good for us, we can learn from these games."
