Emi Marcondes says that he and his Norwich City team-mates will need to develop more consistency quickly.
The Canaries were beaten 2-1 at Carrow Road by Burnley in their final home game before Christmas despite leading at half-time.
"It's a tough one, as you say. We're devastated in there because we were playing well for long spells. At the end of the first half, we maybe should have been 2-0 up," Marcondes said post-match.
"We switched off in some moments of the game where they were very clinical. Some details of the game, a free-kick where we let them shoot a little bit easily and then they're in the game."
The Dane indicated that City will look back on the smaller details of the game over the coming days.
He also explained that the lessons need to be learned quickly with the busy festive period having firmly arrived.
I think a lot of players are frustrated. In the moment now, we'll be disappointed. We'll discuss some details and start to analyse it tomorrow and Tuesday," he added.
"Right now, we are emotional and when you're emotional, you don't say the right things. We have to learn, and learn quick. There's a lot of games coming up now at Christmas time. If we want to be up there, we need to get better quickly."
