Norwich City midfielder Gabriel Sara says that he and his team-mates need to be more ruthless after Preston North End held them to a 0-0 draw at Carrow Road.
City dominated the game but couldn't find the net throughout the 90 minutes.
"Everyone is disappointed about the result," Sara said after the game.
"We had more than one chance to win the game and didn't score. We had a solid defence but not as good as we needed to be in attack.
"We had control of the game for 90 minutes but that's not enough, we want to win the game. We want to be a team that is ruthless, and are always going to score and win games. That's what we want to do for the fans, for everyone, that's why we're here. It wasn't good enough, we have to be better."
The Brazilian also spoke about the desire in the team to perform better for the supporters, and will hope to address that on Wednesday evening.
"Norwich is an amazing team, we have to aim for big things. They come to watch the game and support us, we have to give them everything we can.
"I'll watch the game again, I always do that, see what I can do better, what the team can do better and hope the next time we get the result."
