Josh Sargent says that he's feeling good, as he marked his Carrow Road return with a goal in Norwich City's 1-1 draw with Southampton.
The US international came off the bench to level for the Canaries, after Adam Armstrong had given Southampton the lead.
"I think it was a new formation that we've not practiced too much this season," Sargent said. "The boys stuck in there and got a point out of it.
"It wasn't our best showing, but it's a good point against a good side and I think we'll take that."
It was a first appearance back at Carrow Road after picking up an injury away to Huddersfield Town in August, and Sargent says it was a great feeling to play in front of the Norwich supporters once again.
"It was very nice. The fans obviously were very good to me, and I'm very grateful to them. I'm also very grateful to the medical staff who have helped me get back on the pitch.
"I'm feeling good at the moment, so hopefully we can keep going.
I'm still trying to get sharp, I haven't been training for too long but it's getting better each day and we're going to keep working on it."
Sargent adds that his return from injury, as well as the return of other players, will help the momentum in the squad.
"Obviously, Grant (Hanley) coming back is huge. Myself, and a few other guys too. I think almost everybody is available.
"It's great having options, a lot of guys are feeling good. It's up to the boss to pick the squad, and I know a lot of them are hungry to get into that squad.
"We're never going to doubt ourselves, we've got to start stringing results together."
