Norwich City midfielder Anis Ben Slimane described the side's 2-1 defeat away to Sunderland as really frustrating.
The Canaries took the lead through Slimane, but second-half goals from Sunderland resulted in a 2-1 defeat at the Stadium of Light.
"It's really frustrating," Slimane said. "I think we came out in the first half really good and we stuck to the plan that made us work hard in conditions that made it very difficult.
"I thought in the first half, we did really good and went into half-time with a 1-0 lead. Second half was not as good as the first half, we didn't control the game in the way we wanted.
"Even before the red card, it was really difficult to control the game and we made a lot of mistakes. Of course, a red card will make it more difficult.
"We did create that chance for Ashley Barnes after the red card, but it's just frustrating. It's just like last week. A good performance in general, but unfortunately we couldn't take the three points or even a result today."
Norwich are back in action on Boxing Day, hosting Millwall at Carrow Road and Slimane is keen to bounce back to winning ways.
"It's a busy schedule, we need to look forward to the next couple of games and we need to keep going.
"We need to stick together and hopefully, next time we can take the three points."
