Jack Stacey is hoping that Norwich City can improve their away record starting with this weekend's trip to Coventry City.
Stacey's comments come after Norwich suffered a 2-1 defeat at Swansea City, their fourth defeat in a row away from home.
"We had a bad start to the game, conceding early but I liked our response to it. We stayed calm, kept the ball and played our way back into the game," Stacey explained.
"Second half then we had a few chances where we felt we could have done better. With a little bit more quality and concentration in front of goal, we could have picked it up. And then our defending, it's a set-piece that they score which is disappointing."
Following league defeats to Rotherham United and Plymouth Argyle on the road, as well as a Carabao Cup exit at Craven Cottage, the right-back is hoping that the positive home form can be transferred into the side's away record.
And believes that the dressing room continues to have the right mindset to fix it.
"It's something we want to make better, we want to improve our away record. We've done so well at home and we want to take that into our away games. Thankfully for us, we have a chance in three days to be able to do that," he added.
"Some harsh words were said in the changing room, some truths really. I think that's what you need in a team, to be able to air it out and at the end of the day, nothing is personal that's said in there. It's all about staying together as a team and the best thing is we have a chance to go to Coventry on Saturday and make amends."
