Norwich City head coach David Wagner said that Adam Idah's late winner was very emotional, as the side claimed a 2-1 win over Bristol City.
Idah scored in the fifth minute of stoppage time as the Canaries came from a goal behind to win at Ashton Gate.
"It was super emotional." Wagner says. "From my point of view, I think it was quite an even game. Both teams wanted to win. I think we started both halves better than Bristol City, especially in the first half where I think we had two very good opportunities.
"First with Ashley (Barnes), and then Onel (Hernández) hit the inside of the post and we unfortunately didn't get the lead. And then Bristol City scored with more or less their first opportunity. At half-time, we said it's still game on and there's not too much we have to change.
"We have everything to win the game, everyone knows we are capable of scoring goals. This is what we have done. A very good first goal, even if it was an own goal. And then with Idah's last-second winner, it was very, very emotional."
Wagner made a few changes to the side, including the returning Angus Gunn and Jonathan Rowe. The head coach also tweaked his side, with Kenny McLean partnering Shane Duffy in defence.
"We were fortunate that (Adam) Forshaw, Rowe and Gunn were all back in training. Gunny and Jonny were able to start the game as well, I think both players have done their job.
"Kenny played centre-half for the first time from the start, as we played against a team that pressed us very high and are very energetic. As a left-footed centre-half, he's done it briefly in other games.
"We also wanted fresh legs with Nacho and (Liam) Gibbs, as it's been a very busy week. I think everything worked well for us."
It was the third time this season Idah has netted a late winner for the Canaries, and Wagner says he is pleased with the Irishman's contribution.
"I'm super happy for Adam, and he's scored as a substitute again. I think he's the most dangerous substitute in the league.
"He, like every player, likes to start every game. He has a super strength that, when he comes on, he can use his pace and power. He always finds the gaps, and stays in the right positions in the right moments like against Hull and Cardiff.
"I'm very happy for him, like with all the players. We've come back from a very difficult period where we lost four in a row. How the players have recovered, with nine points out of 12, and this is good.
"It's time to give them credit with how they've recovered, nine out of 12 is good. Now a home game in front of our supporters, we have to try and pick up the momentum."
