Norwich City head coach David Wagner described his team's performance as solid, as they were 3-1 winners over Sheffield Wednesday.
Borja Sainz, Ashley Barnes and Jonathan Rowe were all on the scoresheet as the Canaries returned to winning ways.
"I think it was a solid performance," Wagner said. "I think we started very well, and unfortunately we were only 1-0 up. I think we had opportunities to extend the lead, great opportunities and great situations.
"We weren't ruthless in these moments. Then it (the equaliser) happened, and that can happen in football. I think the team defended well, apart from corners and throw-ins. Maybe we struggled with the set-pieces.
"We know the team will create, and I think we created a lot of opportunities, clear-cut chances. Luckily, we have three goals. This is why I think it was a solid performance and a deserved win."
Wagner made three changes to the side, and the head coach said he was pleased with the way the team executed his plan.
"Jonny scored, Borja scored and got an assist. Both players did their job defensively too. Kellen did his job too, but with his yellow card I didn't want to take the risk and that's why we made that substitution.
"We were able to kill the game off early. If we don't do that, you have to do the hard work. That's what the players have done as well. They kept going and at the end of the day I think it was a solid performance."
Attention now turns to Saturday's away fixture against Ipswich Town for Wagner and his side.
"At the end of the day, we play for three points like we have done tonight. Tonight, the three points were as important as every other three points.
"But it's a derby. I've had a few derbies in my manager career. We all together know what these games are about.
"Now it's about recovery, make sure we're all as fresh as we can."
