Norwich City head coach David Wagner said he side were not ruthless enough in both boxes as they drew 1-1 away to Blackburn Rovers.
Marcelino Núñez scored with a free-kick in the first half, before Dominic Hyam's second half equaliser meant the points were shared.
"I thought the performance was good," Wagner said.
"In ball possession, we played some good football and created enough opportunities to score more than only one.
"Defensively, we looked energetic and sharp. Yes, we gave one goal away but these things can always happen. What is frustrating is the result, with the opportunities we had, you have to win the game.
"Sometimes you have games like this and you score three or four goals, and we've done this in recent games. Today, we haven't and this means we only got a point. The result is frustrating, but the performance from my point of view was okay."
The head coach also spoke about the ruthlessness of the Championship, and that his side did not take their chances.
"If you lead by only one goal, it's the Championship and the opponent can always punish you with just one situation. This is what the Championship is all about, so you have to make sure you extend your lead.
"Especially to concede from a corner where you have to keep your focus, and be ruthless and we haven't done our job in this situation. This is the story of the game.
"We were not ruthless in the game, and that's in both boxes. Offensively, we had enough clear cut chances and should score more.
"Then, with the set-piece we have to defend better."
