Head coach David Wagner was pleased with the effort across all areas of Norwich City's game plan after beating West Brom 2-0 at home.
Josh Sargent and Jonathan Rowe were on the scoresheet as Norwich jumped back up to eighth in the Sky Bet Championship.
"I'm delighted with what the players have shown today, it's just fantastic, considering we played on Wednesday, what they have shown today and the shift they have put in.
"They left their hearts on the pitch defending-wise.
"It was very good football from both sides, tactically good, intensity-wise good, defending partly good and offensively good.
"I'm over the moon the players have shown this in an important game. They've shown some real quality, we've got a great result, a clean sheet as well, so it's overall a fantastic effort.
After winning 3-1 against Bristol Rovers in the cup on Wednesday last week, the Canaries are now unbeaten in four fixtures.
"Today, we played better in ball possession; the second goal was a top goal, how we scored this and it's nice to see this togetherness that the dressing room has.
"They got their reward; there was already a good feeling in the dressing room before the game and I'm very happy that they have shown what they have shown today."
US international Josh Sargent added to his goal-scoring tally this afternoon, making it five for the season and two in three games.
"The quality in training is at another level as well and it makes healthy competition, which helps.
"As a team we looked very solid and very tied together; we attacked together and defended together.
"I think this was a top game and we are looking forward to some interesting games. Now we have to make sure that we work on a game plan and execute it as well as we can."
