Head coach David Wagner was pleased with his side's performance as they beat Olympiacos 2-0 in their final pre-season outing of the summer.
Goals from Kenny McLean and Josh Sargent were enough to see off the Greek Super League side ahead of next week's Sky Bet Championship opener.
"I think we've seen a very technical side with Olympiacos," Wagner said. "They took care of the ball very well, we had to work hard. I think what the players have done, I'm more than pleased with how they defended, how they kept their shape, and I think we limited them on clear-cut chances.
"Obviously, we were lucky with the first goal and the second from a set-piece as well where (Shane) Duffy has shown all of his physicality. Josh was in a position where he should be as a striker and took the tap in. It was a good game, a good win, a good performance as well."
While a clean bill of health was the priority for Wagner, he was pleased to see the squad come through pre-season with another win against difficult opposition.
He pointed to the side's defensive record as a key positive ahead of the new campaign.
"Everybody likes to win, and even in pre-season matches it's better to win rather than to lose. But, it's more about the performances. Defensively, I think we have shown in the last games against top teams from Germany, the Netherlands, from France, and now from Greece, we gave less chances away.
"We had very good organisation, very good togetherness, spirit to defend, the hunger and desire is great. And, offensively, we can score goals."
Wagner also provided updates on players who did not feature against Olympiacos on Saturday afternoon.
"Lungi (Jacob Sørensen) has some groin problems, luckily it's not bad. We hope that he will be back in training maybe at the end of next week. Christos (Tzolis), I wanted to give 90 minutes today which was not possible in the game here, which is why he played with the Under-21s against Brighton.
"Max (Aarons) and Milot (Rashica) have to catch up with some further fitness, that's why they were not involved."
The Canaries are back in action at home next Saturday at 3pm when Hull City visit for the Sky Bet Championship's opening weekend.
