Norwich City head coach David Wagner looks back on his side's defeat away at Leicester City in the Sky Bet Championship.
The Canaries went ahead through Gabriel Sara, but three goals from the hosts meant all the points belonged to Leicester.
"The result is disappointing. It's never nice to concede a defeat," Wagner said.
Defensively, even if we conceded three, I think we looked organised a lot of the time, put a shift in, worked hard. This was ok but the truth is, in ball possession we are better than we've shown today. Unfortunately, too many players are below the recent standard they have set in possession, first touches, movements were not as good as they were in the past.
"It's disappointing. We know what went wrong, we know what to do better, we know that we are better than what we have shown. Next one is a very big one, at home again where we have to show that defensively we are fully on it and offensively in ball possession, much better."
Jacob Sørensen was withdrawn after just 10 minutes due to injury, replaced by Shane Duffy who has only recently returned from a calf problem himself.
The head coach says that both will be monitored over the coming days.
"Lungi looks like he has a hamstring injury. He has to get assessed tomorrow, and hopefully we'll know more. Duffy came in, luckily he's back after the calf injury he had," he added.
"He was able to finish the game. I spoke with him after the game, fitness-wise it's a big step and he'll be very important for us for the rest of the season."
Next up is the East Anglian derby against Ipswich Town at Carrow Road but Wagner says that all games at this stage of the season carry the same weight of expectation.
"It's important, but so was today. The game at home to Plymouth was important, the games before the international break were important.
"All of them count at this stage of the season. Because it's a derby, there's more noise and excitement but it's up to me to make sure everyone has fire in their heart and calm in their head."
