Head coach David Wagner was thoroughly impressed by his side's resilience in the East Anglian derby, concluding that the point was fair and deserved.
"I'm absolutely delighted for the shift and the effort the players put in on the pitch," he said.
"The work ethic and fighting spirit was top-class, which is why we deserve this point.
"It's exactly what you have to show in a derby, I think there was everything in the game; the lead changed and there was a lot of battle.
"You've seen why they are a good side and why they have such a good home record.
"If you can't win it, you have to make sure that you don't lose it and this is exactly what the players have done. A fantastic result."
Dimitris Giannoulis was absent from the squad on the day, as Wagner confirmed it was just precautionary.
"There's a quick turnaround with these games and and he always produces big physical numbers.
"He will be back in training next week and he will be available for the busy Christmas but the risk was too high.
"With everything we've seen with Sam (McCallum) in training, we had every confidence that he would produce a performance like he has done.
"His performance individually, especially second half was outstanding."
On the players currently recovering from injuries, Wagner said: "It will be super important over this Christmas period to have players back.
"We need them, we are really looking forward to this busy Christmas period, It's good that we have further players getting back into the squad and now we keep going, we keep pushing."
Norwich City now have a positive run of four wins, two draws and one loss in the last seven fixtures.
"This is something we can build on but now we have to make sure we recover in the next week.
"The support today was outstanding; nothing is greater than being away from home in a derby, seeing supporters cheering us on, keeping the home crowd quiet."
