Norwich City head coach David Wagner said his side always kept going as they claimed all three points with a 2-1 win over Plymouth Argyle.
Two second half goals gave the Canaries all three points at Carrow Road, after trailing at half-time from Morgan Whittaker's header.
"It was a very hard game," Wagner said.
"Three hard-fought-for points, I'm over the moon about the effort, the shift that the players put on the grass. They always kept going.
"I think, first half, we played well without being ruthless. This is where we have to blame ourselves. As many box entries as we had, we have to be more ruthless, and have to be in front in the first half.
"Second half, from my point of view, we were not as good as we were in the first half. But we were super clinical, two goals from set-pieces.
"Big credit goes to (Andy) Hughesy, the set-piece coach, especially the routine from the first one. We also had (Angus) Gunny in goal who kept us in the game in very crucial moments.
"Sometimes, the games are not the nicest or the performances are not on the highest level, but you have to make sure you fight at the highest level. This is what the players have done."
The head coach also highlighted the squad's belief, and their resilience in being able to turn the game around.
"If you have so much trust and belief when you have a set-back in a game, it's important to keep going and keep believing," he explained.
"The players have shown so much in recent weeks, they know even if we have a set-back we can turn this around.
"I'm very, very happy today. How they worked and to come from behind to win, I think it's the seventh home win in a row. It's just unbelievable, it gives us another boost."
A season highest crowd of 26,622 was in attendance at Carrow Road for the win over Plymouth, and Wagner says the noise from the supporters was crucial.
"This is crucial, if we like to achieve something special in this season, we need the supporters. They played their part again today."
