Head coach David Wagner said that Norwich City deserved their 3-2 win against Cardiff City, after being 2-1 down at the interval.
Christian Fassnacht, Ryan Wintle (OG) and Adam Idah netted for the Canaries to end their streak of six games without a win.
"For us, it means a lot. It's a great feeling, one that we've been desperate for, a winning feeling after a game," Wagner said.
"The dressing room is buzzing and they deserve to be. Apart from the result, it was a good performance as well.
"Even the first half where we were 2-1 down, it was an ok performance. We had some problems in the wide areas. In the second half, I think we deserved this win because we were better."
Wagner also credited his players for their belief in turning around the recent results, highlighting how they focused their own game.
"The key was the players, we spoke about confidence in the team meeting, how confidence can't be high in our situation, on such a bad run. But confidence you can win back with battles on the grass, go for it, win it and confidence will grow.
"We spoke about how you can put a blanket over your head and hope something changes or you can fight and show togetherness. That's what the players have done. They delivered a performance today in difficult circumstances, not only the run we've been on but the injury problems we've had, this was a team that had never played together before and they've done great.
"We loved this winning feeling being back in the dressing room. we love this job for this feeling. We haven't had it for a long time and now everyone's over the moon.
"This should be our turning point. If you perform like this away from home against Cardiff, a side which were unbeaten for a long time and didn't concede for a few games. This should give everyone belief. We need to keep going and work hard for each other."
