Head coach David Wagner thinks his Norwich City side should have beaten Preston North End in Saturday's 0-0 draw at Carrow Road.
The Canaries had the majority of possession, and created several opportunities in the second half to win it but had to settle for a single point.
"Of course, I think nobody would have any complaints if we won the game. Unfortunately, we haven't and the reason is quite simple. In the final third, we lacked a little bit of creativity and we were not ruthless because we had two or three clear cut chances that we haven't used," Wagner said.
"This is what you have to do if an opponent is set up so deep and only defend their box. We haven't done it but from my point of view, there were a lot of good things. Our counter-press was top class, we kept them away from our goal, they only had their first corner in stoppage time. I think we nailed them in the final third but we didn't do enough in ball possession."
It's now 10 points from a possible 15 for Norwich following wins at Cardiff City and Bristol City, as well as at home to QPR.
But Wagner still feels as if there is something missing offensively, which could have been the difference against North End.
"Like I said, creativity and ruthlessness is what we missed. The shift, the effort and the defensive part of the game was very, very good. We spoke a lot about stability and being more difficult to break down and I think everything was there. But then offensively, unfortunately we haven't scored.
"We had our chances, you won't normally get nine or 10 top class chances. We had two or three and we have to use them. If you do, the game opens up a little bit more and that wasn't the case."
There's another home game in the next outing, Sheffield Wednesday will be the visitors to Norfolk midweek and have just lifted themselves from the bottom of the table with a win at Stoke.
"We know what we've done well so credit to the players for this but we also know exactly what we have to do better. This is where we'll work and on Wednesday we have another task in front of us.
"Wednesday now have seven points from their last three but we have to make sure we put the same shift in, defend like we have today but offensively be more ruthless."
