Norwich City head coach David Wagner said he was proud of his players' performance today against Swansea City, despite only picking up a point in the final home game of the season.
"I think it was a totally different draw compared to the draw which we've seen a week ago; this was a very good performance. The players have put out a proper shift, played wonderful football and created unbelievable opportunities," Wagner said.
"We defended with a high line and were on the front foot. We were super sharp, super aggressive, but unfortunately, we were not ruthless and not clinical.
"This is the only thing where we have to hold up our hands. We should have done better and this is why we only draw this game.
"We take this point now. I think we are unbeaten at home since the start of the year, which is just great.
"Unfortunately, the last home game, we would love to win, but sometimes we don't what get what we deserve and performance-wise we for sure deserved to win.
"This league is like that, though, isn't it? We've seen results; last night Leeds lost and today West Brom have lost. You don't just get given results."
The point keeps Swansea 13th in the table and Norwich move up to fifth with just one Sky Bet Championship game to go.
"I've seen what I expected from Swansea today; they played football, they played with freedom, they have their qualities as well, but let's be honest that we didn't win.
"Although we weren't clinical enough, the performance was one which I really liked, especially after the last week where we were not at our best, where we were not, what we are normally are."
Josh Sargent and Gabriel Sara each added to their personal tallies for the season and netted their 16th and 13th goals respectively for the Canaries.
Both scoring late in the first half after the Swans had taken the lead through Jamie Paterson.
"Today we were back on track, the goals came from two of our young players, who've been so influential throughout the season.
"They were able to have another three or four clear-cut chances as well, which normally we use, and this is what we missed today. The shift the whole team put in and how they worked, how they created their opportunities, was top."
Ashley Barnes played only 15 minutes of this afternoon's game at Carrow Road, after picking up an injury shortly after being substituted on in the second half.
"He has had some problems with his Achilles all week and unfortunately, he has a calf injury now. We will have to assess it to see how serious it is.
"Today's performance was enough for a point. Obviously we deserve more, but we have an eye on tonight's game, for sure as well.
"Obviously, I've seen the other results, you see, it's not easy to win or even to collect a point in the Championship, especially at this stage of the season, big credit to my players, they are very consistently collecting points and performing as well, and the reward is that they are in the table where they are at the minute.
"We know at the moment the job isn't done, but we are ready for the last game."
