Head coach David Wagner has admitted that his Norwich City side were 'poor' today after what he described as a disappointing draw in the third round of the Emirates FA Cup.
Ashley Barnes and Grant Ward swapped goals in the first half, but a replay will now be needed to decide who goes through to the fourth round of the competition.
"It's disappointing. We were poor today, that's the truth," Wagner said.
"We have higher demands on us, we were below par today, not on our level offensively or defensively. Unfortunately, we started with a lead, a good goal from Barnesy when Onel (Hernández) showed strength but, in general, we were not good enough today.
"We wanted to be on the front foot, we wanted to be very aggressive, active, very energetic. We wanted to be clinical and play in our three-diamond-three formation if they play with two strikers. Everything was clear, everything was set for the players, but individually and collectively we were not what I expect us to be."
A number of players featured as part of their return to play after injury including Josh Sargent, Grant Hanley and Jacob Sørensen.
"It was always the plan that Josh would play 45 today, everyone knows he's been out for four-and-a-half months," Wagner explained.
"We have to be careful with him, make sure everything is right in his workload. That was the plan for him today. Grant had some back problems, his muscle cramped in his back. It was not body contact, so I think it will settle quite quick."
The replay is now due to be played the week commencing Monday, January 15.
"We will see how it looks when we play them the next time. We have a further game, the Hull game, then we'll have the replay. We'll go there and then we have to make sure that we get to the fourth round.
"That's how it is now, that's what we have to accept. In general, we have to be focused on the performance and the performance today wasn't good."
