Jacob Wright says that a slow start prevented Norwich City from picking up all three points at Hull City.
The Canaries fell behind after just 13 minutes, before going on to take the upper hand for the remainder of the contest.
Josh Sargent equalised early in the second half but neither side could force a winner with Norwich looking most likely.
"We didn't really start well enough. The first 15 was so slow," Wright told Canaries TV.
"For me, it wasn't ideal, I wanted to come in and make an impact as soon as possible. Second half especially, we really pushed on. It was a step in the right direction. We dominated the game, created chances, hit the post. It's three points we would have liked to pick up but unfortunately we were unable to get."
The Manchester City loanee has come into the side in the absence of Kenny McLean, having only joined the club two weeks ago.
He's now looking to push on and add more to the group.
"I knew coming into it how physically demanding it was gonna be. It's something that I've come to test myself in and try to get better with. It'll get better over time the more I settle in and get used to the lads," he added.
"It's not been the perfect start for me in terms of performances but I'm getting more comfortable with the extra minutes I'm playing. Hopefully, we can start to pick up some more results."
