Vladan Kovačević spoke to CanariesTV after he made the move to Norwich City from Sporting CP.
Vladan, congratulations on joining Norwich City. Tell us how you're feeling on arriving?
"I'm really excited to be here, to be honest. Everyone is kind, all the people here. It's a beautiful feeling to be here, it's been my dream to come to England to play."
What conversations did you have and why did you end up choosing Norwich City?
"The ambitions of the club, because I think this club deserves to play in one of the best leagues in the world. For me, it's my dream to play in the Premier League and I think every Norwich fan wants to be there again."
This is the first time you've had a look at the stadium, what are your first impressions?
"The place is pretty nice! I can't wait to play my first game here. I'm excited."
As a goalkeeper, as a player, what strengths do you bring to the team?
"Leadership and experience. It's the most important thing, I think. Next season, we'll talk more."
What about off the pitch, what are you like as a person?
"I have three daughters, so I try to be a good father, first of all. I spend a lot of time with them, with my wife and my family. If I have time, I love to sleep, I'm only joking! For me, the most important thing is family."
What motivates you out there?
"Now, the biggest motivation is my daughters and my wife."
You've won three league titles in three different countries. What were those experiences like?
"Last season, I won the cup with Legia Warszawa as well as the league and cup with Sporting CP. I have 11 trophies already, which I think is pretty good. I hope this season I will win another one with Norwich."
Relationships-wise, who do you know at the football club already?
"I spoke with Lee (Dunn), the coaches and the most exciting conversation was with the goalkeeping coach. They presented me with everything about this club, how we want to play. When I heard everything about the club, I was immediately interested to come here."
