Norwich City Women put on a dominant display against Chesham United at Chiltern Hills Academy with six goals on Sunday afternoon.
Scott Emmerson made just one change to his starting 11 that had beaten AFC Sudbury 4-1 the week prior, bringing in Eloise Morran for Rachel Lawrence.
It was a comfortable opening 45 minutes for the Yellows, as they held onto most of the possession and controlled play from the whistle.
Anna Larkins went down early after a late tackle in her own half and received treatment on the pitch. The City skipper managed another 10 minutes but was then replaced by Charlotte Pernet.
Before the substitution, the Canaries had made their mark on the game and went ahead inside 10 minutes.
Hope Strauss was able to latch onto a Holly Kennard corner after Chesham failed to clear the ball in the area, allowing the Norwich centre-back to poke home inside the box.
Still pushing for more, Kennard was involved goalward again and did well to set up Natasha Snelling in the box, but the striker couldn't turn at an angle comfortable for her and lost possession.
In Chesham's first threatening attack, Sarah Quantrill was required to react quickly to a ball going forward and raced out of her box to scoop the ball with her legs and flick away from danger to Strauss.
It was then Katie Knights who worked hard to keep possession and lay the ball off to Ellie Smith, who perfectly set up Snelling on the edge of the area to double the Canaries' lead.
On the brink of half-time, City made things even more difficult for the hosts, as Smith turned from provider to scorer, perfectly placing a low ball into the back of the net for the third.
The second half was much of the same as the first, with City in the driver's seat and cruise control switched on.
It took all of four minutes for Norwich to find the back of the net again, as Smith set Lauren Hailes up to roll the ball over the line to make it four.
Just past the hour mark, Kennard's pass-turned-shot became the fifth goal of the afternoon, as she looked to cross a looping ball onto the head of a Yellow shirt, only to beat the unsuspecting Delves in goal.
The game was put to bed thanks to a tidy finish from Snelling in the box, collecting her eighth brace of the season.
Chesham were able to claim a consolation goal through substitute Becky Bloor in injury time with a looping shot from outside the area.
The Canaries travel to Ashford Town in the final FAWNL Division One South East fixture of the season on Sunday, May 5.
