Norwich City bowed out of the Emirates FA Cup with a 5-2 defeat at Anfield against Liverpool.
Liverpool took a 2-1 lead in at the break thanks to goals from Curtis Jones and Darwin Nunez.
They later stretched that to 4-1 before Borja Sainz pulled one back but Ryan Gravenberch got a fifth with the final touches.
There were six changes to the Norwich City lineup from the team that had started at Elland Road on Wednesday night.
George Long, Grant Hanley, Sam McCallum, Onel Hernández, Christian Fassnacht and Ashley Barnes all came into the side with a couple of injuries forcing David Wagner's hand.
As expected, the home side started with a lot of intent and the early chances saw Hanley divert Joe Gomez's strike behind before Cody Gakpo blasted a good opportunity over the crossbar.
In the 10th minute, Nunez curled an effort onto Long's post from the edge of the box.
Jones opened the scoring after 16 minutes, heading home across Long from James McConnell's cross.
With his first goal for the club, Ben Gibson had the Canaries level just six minutes later.
However, just the same amount of time had elapsed when Nunez put the hosts back in front.
Gakpo and Gravenberch had opportunities in quick succession to extend the advantage but the Dutch pair failed to capitalise.
Another set-piece gave Liverpool something to think about when McCallum's long throw was nodded on by Hanley but Alisson was well-positioned to collect.
Early in the second half, Gabriel Sara had Alisson worried with a shot from distance but it was the wrong side of the post.
Diogo Jota made it 3-1 in the 53rd minute when Gibson's header fell kindly for him to fire past Long.
Two of Liverpool's substitutes combined for their fourth with Virgil van Dijk heading in Dominik Szoboszlai's corner.
Norwich had the ball in the net again through Fassnacht with just over 20 minutes to go but Sainz was deemed offside in the build-up.
Just seconds later, Sainz unleashed a vicious strike to the back of the Liverpool net giving Allison no chance.
With just over 10 minutes remaining, Long made a stunning double save to deny Jota and Gravenberch.
The goalkeeper also kept both Szoboszlai and Trent Alexander-Arnold at bay as the clock ticked towards added time.
