Norwich City beat West Bromwich Albion 2-0 at Carrow Road on Saturday afternoon, making it back-to-back league wins for the Canaries.
City were a goal to the good at the break thanks to Josh Sargent and Jonathan Rowe sealed the win with 20 minutes to go.
David Wagner made six changes to his starting 11 that beat Bristol Rovers 3-1 in the FA cup earlier in the week.
The visitors' John Swift was given a go at goal early on as West Brom won a free-kick from inside 30 yards out, but the Baggies midfielder couldn't make his shot count.
After a controlled 15 minutes for West Brom, it was Kenny McLean who kick-started the goals at Carrow Road, as he collected the ball from the halfway line and found Sargent going forward, who slotted the ball into the back of the net.
City's Spaniard Borja Sainz managed a looping flick towards goal after being set-up by Sargent in the box, but his shot fell short of the target.
Top-scorer Rowe tried his luck twice in the space of two minutes in front of goal but Alex Palmer got a strong hand to each shot, keeping the deficit at just one after half an hour.
Norwich had really found their rhythm by this point, as an attacking combination of Jack Stacey and McLean allowed Dimitris Giannoulis a chance to shoot, but he powered his effort over the bar.
The final action of the first half saw a free kick from Gabriel Sara that looped over the West Brom wall but too high to trouble Palmer.
Brandon Thomas-Asante thought he had drawn the visitors level in the dying seconds of the the first 45 but the goal was disallowed for a handball.
The Greek left-back made an important block to deny a West Brom break early on in the restart, after a shot from Swift went narrowly wide shortly after.
Later, a break from Jed Wallace gave him a chance to shoot on the edge of the box but the Baggies captain fired over.
Before being substituted with 20 minutes to go, Thomas-Asante sent a threatening header towards goal but Angus Gunn was there to collect.
Soon after, the Canaries doubled their lead thanks to a break from Sara, who found Giannoulis on the left to set up Rowe perfectly in front of goal, slotting home at the 70-minute mark.
A final push for a consolation goal came from Swift again but his looping flick fell wide of the post.
The Canaries head up north on Wednesday next week to face Leeds in their next Sky Bet Championship fixture.
