Norwich City are pleased to announce that the logo of suicide prevention charity Samaritans will replace those of our shirt sponsors for Saturday’s Sky Bet Championship match against Coventry City.
Ahead of World Mental Health Day on Tuesday, October 10, club partners Lotus Cars, Sekura.id, and Turismo de Gran Canaria have agreed to gift their sponsorship on the shirt's front, back, and sleeve respectively, to raise awareness for Samaritans and the crucial support the charity provides.
These player-worn and signed shirts will be available for auction from the week commencing October 23 and all proceeds will be donated to Samaritans.
Norwich City Women will also wear warm-up shirts showcasing the Samaritans’ logo before their fixture against QPR at Loftus Road on Sunday.
Samaritans is a unique charity dedicated to reducing feelings of isolation and disconnection that can lead to suicide.
They respond to a call for help every 10 seconds, day and night, for those struggling to cope, making sure people have somewhere to turn and support when they need it most.
The club will be supporting World Mental Health Day across our channels over the next few days.
Following the success of a campaign carried out during the 2022/23 season, we have invited all Championship clubs to join us in a similar initiative to show our support for Samaritans, which will form part of this weekend’s matchday build-up.
Find out more about Samaritans on their website here or call their helpline on 116 123.
