Gabriel Sara says it's exciting to start playing again, as he marked his return to the team with a goal and an assist in Norwich City's 2-0 win over Toulouse.
The Brazilian set up Christian Fassnacht before scoring a fantastic free-kick as the Canaries defeated the Ligue 1 side.
"I'm very happy with this goal and this assist, and I'm happy to be back. It's exciting to start playing again, so I'm so happy," he said.
"Everyday I'm improving a little bit. Today, 40 minutes was very important for me. I'm feeling great, a little bit tired but with every game and every training, I'm improving. I think this is great for me and great for the team.
"It was an amazing goal. I've been training for that, even since the last season. I spoke with my dad yesterday, and he said that this season I have to start scoring with free-kicks and penalties! I'm happy to score here today, and hope to score more during the season."
On his new team-mate, Sara says that he has been impressed with Fassnacht in the 24 hours he has spent with him around the pre-season camp.
"Christian is great, and a great player. It's the first time we've played together, and he did great and deserved that goal. He will help us a lot this season.
"We're excited in the squad, we want to play this game \[against Olympiacos\] and everybody is excited to start this new season because I think this season will be great for us."
