Gabriel Sara says that he and his team-mates were not ruthless enough as Norwich City were forced to settle for a point at home to Swansea City in the Sky Bet Championship.
The Canaries fell behind in the first half but a wondergoal from Sara followed by a Josh Sargent header had turned the game around before the half-time whistle.
Swansea captain Matt Grimes scored from the penalty spot in the second half to claim a share of the spoils.
"It's kind of frustrating, we had a good game, we had our chances. We could have killed the game but we didn't," Sara said.
"I think we have to take the point as something really important but we can be so much better in the final third. We can score more goals and be more ruthless, but we'll take this point and keep moving."
It's a second home draw in consecutive games for Norwich who had won eight in a row at Carrow Road before that.
"It was definitely much better, today we controlled the game, we had more clear chances. Like I said, we just have to be more ruthless and protect our goal more."
On his goal, a powerful 25-yard strike that went in via the crossbar, Sara said: "When I had the first touch, it was definitely in my mind to shoot. I wasn't expecting that goal but I'm glad it happened. Everyone was so impressed, even at half-time they were looking at me saying: 'What a goal.' I'm happy, and hope that I can keep scoring goals like that."
The players performed their lap of appreciation post-game and Sara outlines his desire to get into the play-off spots for the supporters.
"Everyone knows how important that is for the club. We'll keep moving, we got this point and we'll see in the next game what is going to happen.
"It's amazing. Every game they are here, it doesn't matter if it's raining or sun or snowing. We have to always do our best for them. If they love me, I love them as well. That's our relationship."
