Norwich City striker Josh Sargent has been nominated for the Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month award for August.
The US international scored five goals in the first four league fixtures of the season, the pick of the bunch coming late on against Blackburn Rovers to secure a 2-0 win.
While leading the team in the absence of Kenny McLean, Sargent certainly set the example.
His goal against Millwall was made possible by his work-rate while his strength and composure contributed to goals against Middlesbrough, Portsmouth and from the spot against Blackburn.
The other players nominated for the monthly award are Ross McCrorie (Bristol City), Sorba Thomas (Stoke City) and Victor Torp (Coventry City).
The winner will be announced on Friday, September 12.
