Josh Sargent has won the supporter vote to be named as the Norwich City player of the season for 2024/25, presented by Anglian Home Improvements.

Kellen Fisher finished second in the voting with Borja Sainz in third place.

City's number nine has scored 15 goals, and registered five assists, in 32 appearances this season, taking his tally for the club to 48 goals.

Sargent has scored 11 goals in his 19 league appearances in 2025, climbing the league's scoring charts into fourth despite playing 10-plus fewer games than those ahead of him.

On winning the Barry Butler Memorial Trophy, Sargent said: "I’m very happy. I’m extremely honoured to have this award.

"It’s never easy getting injured like I did this season but I think I’ve done a good job of getting myself in a position where I could hit the ground running when I came back.

"These last two seasons of getting consistent minutes playing as a striker, that’s developed my game and helped me gain more confidence in it… and the goals are flowing now."

The award will be formally presented to Sargent ahead of kick-off against Cardiff City by the club's honorary life presidents Delia Smith and Michael Wynn Jones.
