Norwich City Women can confirm the list of players to be retained and released following the conclusion of the 2025/26 season.
Natasha Snelling, Ceri Flye, Ellie Bishop, Hope Strauss, Olivia Cook, Holly Mears and Tamsin Medd-Gill will all depart the club this summer.
Snelling leaves the Canaries after more than 14 years at the club, during which she was voted as Player of the Season at the end of the 2024/25 campaign and was top scorer for four consecutive seasons.
Snelling also played an important part in both City's road to promotion and FA Cup run this season, setting-up the winning goal against Stevenage in the third round of the competition.
She would represent the club on seven occasions at Carrow Road, scoring three goals.
Snelling departs having registered over 250 appearances for the Yellows, scoring over 110 goals.
Two other players who leave behind a legacy include Flye and Bishop, who were part of Norwich City Women history when they were introduced as the first players to receive professional contracts.
Centre-back Flye joined City in the summer of 2022 from Cambridge City and quickly became a key figure in the squad.
A consistent presence at the heart of the defence, she made 107 appearances and recorded the highest appearance tally in her debut season at the club.
During her time at Norwich City she also scored nine goals in all competitions.
Bishop has been part of the Community Sports Foundation's pathway from age nine.
She played one season of senior women's football with the Canaries and earned herself Young Player of the Season during the 2021/22 campaign.
After two and a half seasons away with Tottenham Hotspur's PGA side and Watford Women, she made her return to Norfolk.
Another defender amongst the departures is Strauss, who leaves the club after three seasons in the City backline.
The former Loughborough Lightning defender amassed 35 clean sheets and 10 goals in 83 appearances for the Canaries.
Having been part of the club since she was 17-years-old, Cook departs the club after four successful years as a forward and will be fondly remembered as a long-throw specialist.
Highlights for the young Canary include her winning goal against AFC Sudbury in the 2024/25 season, as well as two goals in County Cup finals at Carrow Road.
Goalkeeper Holly Mears signed for the Canaries last summer from Nottingham Forest Women after achieving promotion with the Reds.
She adds another promotion season to her CV, having been a huge influence between the sticks in the first half of the season, where she kept seven clean sheets.
The final departure, Tamsin Medd-Gill, leaves the club after moving up from Plymouth in the summer of 2024.
She played in a variety of roles during her time at Norwich City, including centre-back, full-back and midfield.
In 24 appearances, she scored two goals.
