Norwich City’s Annual General Meeting between the Board of Directors and shareholders took place at Carrow Road on Thursday evening.
The top table comprised of Michael Foulger, Stuart Webber, Ian Thornton, Zoe Ward, Anthony Richens, Stephan Phillips, Sam Hall, Delia Smith, Michael Wynn Jones and Tom Smith.
Anthony Richens began proceedings with a financial review, which focused on a decrease in club revenue, largely due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but following notable player sales of Emiliano Buendia, Ben Godfrey and Jamal Lewis, a profit was made during 2020-21.
Tom Smith and Michael Wynn Jones faced re-appointment to the board, and that resolution was carried by shareholders.
BDO were also re-elected to serve as independent auditors of the finances of Norwich City Football Club.
Zoe Ward then highlighted the key club developments over the past year, which included achieving a club record transfer fee, increased youth productivity, new club digital infrastructure, opening of The Nest and the refurbishment of Yellows Bar and Grill.
Ian Thornton then presented to the room about the work of the Community Sports Foundation during the Covid-19 pandemic, and the ongoing support they continue to provide to the community.
The meeting then opened up for a Q&A with questions from the shareholders in attendance.
