Academy player Jez Sinclair-Brown has signed his first professional contract at Norwich City.
The 17-year-old has featured regularly for the Under-18s this season, making 22 appearances in the Under-18 Premier League South, as well as featuring in the FA Youth Cup.
Sinclair-Brown puts pen to paper on his first professional deal, keeping him at the club until the summer of 2028.
"I'm really happy, obviously," Sinclair-Brown said. "It's a proud moment for me and my family, and something I've been working towards for a long time. Just really happy to achieve this and just want to keep going now.
"I'm a defensive midfielder, so I like to win the ball midfield, win battles and like being on the ball. I just try to create things going forward. It took me a while to understand the position, but I think I really developed myself, especially this season. I've seen real progress and I just want to continue working there.
"I think the first game was a good experience playing in the stadium for the first time. I came off the bench and then just tried to make an impact. The second time I started, so it was a really good moment for me.
"I was really excited to play in front of some fans as well. Unfortunately, we didn't get the result we wanted, but it was just a really good moment for me. And to see my family there as well, just watching me play in the stadium was a good moment for me.
"It's obviously a bit different and feels a bit bigger when you're in the stadium, but it's good, especially under the lights as well. It's really different, a different environment, but I really enjoyed it.
"For the rest of the season, I want to keep progressing and hopefully just get some more wins towards the end of the season. I think we've developed well as a team and started to get some good results, but I just want to keep that going and then just keep getting better for next season as well.
"Next season, hopefully I could play in the Under-21s, try to get myself an opportunity there and keep being consistent in my performances, and hopefully get to that level and see what happens."
