Scott Smith has been appointed as the club’s new academy manager.
Smith, who joined the club from Luton Town in 2014, steps up into the role having previously held the position of head of foundation and youth development phase within the academy.
During his 12 years with the club, Smith has played a key role in the coaching and recruitment of talent across the club’s Foundation and Youth Development phases.
In his new role, he will help drive all areas of the academy, supporting strategic priorities and leading on all operational processes.
The club are also continuing with the process of recruiting and appointing a new football development director. The successful candidate will hold overarching accountability for all academy operations and strategy.
