Norwich City Women are delighted to announce Ellie Smith as the Women's Player of the Season for the 2023/24 campaign, presented by Sekura.id.
The City number nine was voted for by fans as the recipient of the award for the second year running, having also picked up the title in the 2022/23 season.
Smith has had another hugely impressive season with the Canaries, scoring 10 goals in all competitions, collecting February's Player of the Month award and being voted Opposition Player of the Match five times.
One of many notable goal contributions came in front of a crowd of nearly 6,000 at Carrow Road against QPR in the 2-2 draw last month.
It was also Smith's strike in round two of the Adobe Women's FA Cup that knocked out Southern Premier side Hashtag United, as she scored the only goal of the game at The Nest.
On winning the award, Smith said: "It feels amazing, to win it last year was incredible, to win it this year just feels even better. I think we've had a brilliant season as a team, so to be chosen out of everyone just feels great, but I think it could have been given to anyone.
"Personally, I've really enjoyed the season, it's the most I've ever scored in a season, which is a personal achievement for me, but for the team it's been incredible; we have two games left and we're undefeated.
"Scoring at Carrow Road was such an amazing feeling; it's always been a dream of mine.
"I remember running over to my family and friends that have supported me throughout my whole career, it just felt amazing.
"I just have to thank you all so much for voting, it means so much to me, and thank you for your support all season."
Smith will be presented with her trophy at Norwich City's Sky Bet Championship home fixture against Swansea City on Saturday.
