Norwich City Women are delighted to announce that Natasha Snelling has been voted as the 2024/25 Player of the Season.
The striker is the club's top-scorer for the fourth consecutive season and has netted 16 times for the Canaries in all competitions during this campaign.
One notable performance for the club saw her score four goals against Ashford Town at home and in another she netted a hat-trick against Needham Market in the Harrod Sport Women's Cup.
On winning the award, Snelling said: "It feels incredible. I think anyone this year could have won it, so it is an honour to receive the award.
"I want to say thank you to the fans for taking time to vote for me.
"Every season I go into now, I just want to be consistent. As a striker, I need to be putting the ball in the back of the net or if I can't do that, I need to be creating chances.
"I told Ellie (Smith) because I'm really close to her off the pitch and she was buzzing for me. Already, she's changed her shift on Saturday to watch me be presented with the award.
"She is a phenomenal player, so to see my name engraved underneath hers is a privilege.
"I think the last two seasons, I have probably played the best I have ever played because we've had a purpose. The club is going in the right direction and we want to get promoted."
Snelling will be presented with the award pitchside at Norwich City's Sky Bet Championship fixture against Cardiff at Carrow Road on Saturday, May 3.
Second and third place for the award were claimed by Olivia Cook and Ceri Flye respectively.
