Summer signing Jack Stacey picked up his first goal for the club in a 1-0 Sky Bet Championship win over Stoke City.
The right-back found the net late in the first half in a contest that was largely controlled by Norwich, despite a few moments towards the end where the Potters scrambled for an equaliser.
It's also a return to winning ways for David Wagner's side who suffered a 2-1 defeat to Rotherham United on the other side of the international break.
Norwich were keen to test their range early on - Gabriel Sara almost finding the top corner from distance before Christian Fassnacht warmed the hands of Mark Travers. The Swiss winger showed sublime control before turning and shooting.
As the half wore on both sides had spells of dominance, with only the home side creating real goal-scoring chances.

A frantic finish to the game saw Stoke press for the equaliser but a combination of resolute defending and safe goalkeeping would see Norwich hold out.
The best of the chances for Stoke would fall to substitute Dwight Gayle who couldn't seem to sort his feet out in time allowing Norwich to recover and the danger was eventually cleared by Płacheta.
