For almost 10 years, Rainbow Laces has brought visibility for LGBTQ+ people in sport and raised awareness of their experiences on and off the pitch.

The Canaries join the EFL and other organisations in playing our part to kick discrimination out of sport. However, there is still more to do, according to Stonewall research, 43 per cent of LGBTQ+ think public sporting events aren’t welcoming for them.

The campaign kicked off on Wednesday, October 17, and runs through to Monday, October 31, this year, with Norwich supporting the campaign in this weekend's fixture against Stoke City on Saturday, 29 October.

Football clubs across Britain are joining the Rainbow Laces takeover, including all Premier League clubs, the EFL clubs and the Barclays Women’s Super League.

Premier League and EFL clubs are competing in Rainbow Laces-themed fixtures and all EFL matches will feature a bespoke Rainbow Laces pitch flag and captains will wear Rainbow armbands.
