Norwich City trio of Max Aarons, Ozan Kabak and Brandon Williams are doubts for the club's Emirates FA Cup trip to Liverpool on Wednesday.
Both Aarons and Williams haven't trained since the team's defeat to Southampton on Friday night, and Kabak is struggling with a shoulder problem.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference, Dean said: "We have a couple of fresh concerns. Brandon and Max haven't trained yet since the last time. Ozan is struggling with his shoulder so is unlikely to pay.
"That goes along with our long-term absentees Andrew Omobamidele and Adam Idah as well."
Dean offered an insight into his thinking behind how his team will look prior to the game:
"The competition allows five subs, so we can chop and change a bit more during the game. There's lots of things we're looking at.
"We want to pick a team that we think has a chance of winning the game."
Grant Hanley suspended for the fixture after picking up two bookings in the team's previous two cup fixtures.
