Norwich City look set to be without Croatian striker Ante Crnac for the trip to Turf Moor on Friday, April 11 (KO 8pm)

Head coach Johannes Hoff Thorup confirmed after the fixture with Sunderland why Crnac and Onel Hernández were absent from the matchday squad while also updating on Oscar Schwartau. The young Dane was replaced at half-time by Emi Marcondes in the goalless draw.

"I remember the last game (against Burnley), I watched it yesterday and we were really, really good. We were pushing them back, creating some good moments so, I think, it leads in to where we want to go with this team and this club," Hoff Thorup explained.

"We have to see who is available. After a tough one against Sunderland, there were players cramping at the end. Oscar picked up an injury in the middle of the first half and could not continue on, we will have to see who is available and make a gameplan based on that.

"Ante picked up an ankle injury in the Plymouth game and was limping a little bit. We tried to ice him to see if that could support it, he actually felt alright going home. But when we started training the other day, he could still feel it and couldn't really move so he'll probably be out for a couple of games.

"Onel, there was an internal issue that we're dealing with at the moment, that's the reason why he was not in the squad."
